Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town

If you’re looking for chic, modern and relaxed in the middle of the action(and the sun), The Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town might just be your ticket.

As the newest hotel in Old Town, The Canopy is definitely fresh. With new rooms – well, new everything really – you’re getting the best of the best.

This hotel doesn’t have to hide wear and tear – because it really doesn’t have any.

With many room types ranging from simple to luxurious, you can’t go wanting when you check in at The Canopy.

And it’s not just the rooms to take note of.

The Canopy has many amenities including pet-friendly rooms, a fitness center, business center, meeting rooms, on-site restaurant, concierge, and a beautiful outdoor pool.

But there’s a catch: the pool isn’t just outside – it’s rooftop.

Perhaps The Canopy’s best call to action is its rooftop lounge, restaurant and pool with 360 degree outdoor views.

From this vantage point, you can spot Camel Back mountain, where the renowned Phoenician sits, and most of the surrounding Old Town Scottsdale.

And an awesome score is its one of few places in Scottsdale with views like this – due strongly to being one of the only new constructions in the area.

And located in one of the most unique, beautiful and interesting corners of Scottsdale, your stay at The Canopy only gets better.

Historic Old Town got its name accurately for being the oldest part of the town.

Old Town is the location where people first settled in the 1880’s, when it was first dubbed “Orangedale” and did not receive its name change to Scottsdale until 1894.

And, Scottsdale wasn’t even officially incorporated as a town until 1951 – with a population of only 2,000 people.

Having grown in population by over 200K today, Scottsdale is a much larger city than in its beginning. However, one thing that has stayed in tact is historic old town.

In this district, you will not only find a rich history but fantastic shopping opportunities, dining options and unique experiences.

Shopping opportunities include historic stores, boutique shops, authentic Native American made jewelry, western clothing and accessories and art studios.

Dining Options include Cafe Monarch, a renowned restaraunt in the US, Old Tortilla Factory, the on-site Canopy Restaurant and my personal favorite, The Mission.

The Mission is a restaurant that blends elegance and vintage with an exquisite Latin cuisine. It displays a beautiful Himalayan salt block wall, accented by low lighting, shimmering chandeliers, a chic bar service at its entrance and outdoor seating.

In between fantastic dining, your experience at the Canopy also lends a hand in exploring the city with a complimentary bike. If cycling isn’t your style, there’s still a multitude of experiences to choose from such as the Taste It Tours, Fiesta Bowl Museum and Old Adobe Mission Church.

And if you like touring, JoyRidez, a tour company that takes you through old town while educating you about history, architecture and all sorts of facts about the city is definitely for you.

There is so much adventure to be had while living it up at The Canopy and enjoying their amenities as well as their rooftop.

This vacation is going to be overflowing with delicious food, sore feet, sunburns and a whole new album in your photos dedicated to these views.
